The greatest experience, the one which shakes a soul with hopes and fears, the results of which are never ending, and incidentally, the one which pays the biggest dividends, is to be found in the adoption of children.--Anonymous

Santa

We were in Maryland this weekend with Rich's parents and went to a breakfast with Santa. Mallory did not mind sitting on Santa's lap at all and Benjamin made sure he told Santa that he wanted Legos. Mallory has started to wave "hi". It is so cute.
Another note: I had an overwhelming feeling of thankfulness and contentment today. Benjamin and I started to make some cookies while Mallory was napping. She woke up and played in an exersaucer, while Benjamin sat at the kitchen table playing (he made baby animals out of legos and then was teaching them to write letters!) and I finished the cookies. I just felt at peace that I have 2 beautiful children and could not imagine wanting to be anywhere else but at home with them.

Oh, I love the pictures. Especially the one with Benjamin holding up his finger when he's talking to Santa. I can just imagine his little voice telling Santa "just one more thing".
God has truely blessed you.
