The greatest experience, the one which shakes a soul with hopes and fears, the results of which are never ending, and incidentally, the one which pays the biggest dividends, is to be found in the adoption of children.--Anonymous

Surprise!!! It's a girl!!

Well, I got up this morning and knew that Benjamin and I were going to run errands. I had been putting them off all week to enjoy the nice weather and relax before going back to work. Anyway, we just got home and my adoption social worker called. I thought there was a problem until she told me to sit down. My heart was pounding and my mind racing. We have a referral of a baby girl born March 12. We only waited 7 weeks for our referral, which is amazing. We get her photo and more information on Monday. We expect that she will arrive home in about 4 months (hopefully before Christmas). Well, I spent all afternoon on the phone while Benjamin had a great time tearing the house apart!

How easy everything became once you switched back to Korea. It felt right too. I'm so happy for you. I can't wait to see the pictures.
