The greatest experience, the one which shakes a soul with hopes and fears, the results of which are never ending, and incidentally, the one which pays the biggest dividends, is to be found in the adoption of children.--Anonymous

3rd Week of July already!

This week Benjamin went in his pool with the neighbor kids in the beginning of the week and when the humidity arrived we spent more time inside. Benjamin and I made Rosie two kinds of dog treats (you can't say I don't take care of my puppy) and he likes to try his own recipes. I also tried some recipes out of a book Deceptively Delicious which is a way to hide vegetables in foods. We actually all like vegetables, but I liked the idea of adding extra. The brownies were not very good, but the chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes were great. I made a triple berry pie which is my second pie. The crust was better, but I liked the blueberry filling better. We also had waffles with strawberries and blueberres and I made a spinach rice feta pie. Benjamin and I both did a lot of reading and he helped me clean the first floor. We have one more week until the beach and we are getting excited.
