Vote on Adoption Law

Guatemala voted and passed the adoption law on Tuesday. It seems that the 3,700 children who are in process of being adopted will continue under the current procedures, but new procedures will be developed for those of us waiting for referrals. We hope that adoptions in Guatemala continue without too many complications. We now just have to wait until the new procedures are written.
